Research Areas

I conduct theoretical and empirical research, and am particularly interested in the relationships between education, development and civil society. My work focuses on higher education system and social relations with a strong interest in knowledge and power and the emancipatory potential of education. I am also interested in civil society development in developing societies. My work falls in four broad domains:

  • Theory and philosophy of educational and social research
